What are the exact reaction conditions for the oxidation to nitrile (CN) group to Carboxalic acid (COOH) group

Lavelle Viveiros: You simply treat the nitrile with sulfuric acid, something like ~8M. The conditions vary on the nitrile to be oxidized, some more reactive nitriles would need to be kept cold, others would need to be refluxed. It is primarily dependent on the other functionalities present.
