Oh My God! I have lost my social security card. Help me?

Ulysses Failey: Just call social security @ 1-800-772-1213 and request a replacement. You should never carry that in your wallet

Brittanie Zakutney: go to social security office, yes you do need one, employers, insurances, loans DO ask bec they act as verification that you are a citizenand also, get a credit check done if you are 18 or older, in case someone uses your ss#

Erin Arron: Go here and do what it says :) and a tip: photocopy this one. http://www.ssa.gov/ssnumber/

Lon Pennington: Social Security Disability Information : http://DisabilityHelp.siopu.com/?kCm

Cedric Grimstead: It's a bit broad, but try this website:http://www.ehow.com/how-does_5005583_do-lose-socia...

Porfirio Gartland: It's no big deal. You don't need it to show anyone. Says right on the card that it is not used for ID. You can easily get another one at your local Social Security office. There is one in every county.
