Does anybody know any significant transportation system issues?

Rubye Bonnin: lack of.... taxi's bus's subway train... im in maine anyway.. taxis are norms able to be called but everything else is ****.. other than that... young drivers, drunk drivers, senile old people driving... deaf elderly people driving...

Rachal Osaki: We have a real lack of public transportation in this country. Not to mention the public transportation we do have is old and out dated. Most European and Asian countries have Hi Speed rail connecting all major cities. Most people in these countries dont even own vehicle because there is no need.

Dana Russian: Here's what I think.The main problem is the fact that people will not get out of their individual vehicles.Why, Because this enables the individual to have some freedom.Public transport does not allow that, and any choice is eliminated.Most individuals expect to park right outside the department store, or, have a parking lot where they work. They will not walk from the rail staion ,or bus stop to they want to go.Publi! c transport can be unreliable as there are others who have to ! provide a service. If the provider cannot provide that service then many poeple are dis- advantaged.So many people will refuse to use any form of public transport....Show more
