Clement Viscarro: If it's not closing by simply pressing the red "x" button in the upper right, you can manually force it to close it in Windows Task Manager.Right click on the Windows Taskbar, select Task Manager, go to the Processes tab, select iexplore.exe and click on the End Process button. You can then start it up again.
