Cashflow board game or e-game reviews? Thank you!?

Alecia Kaehler: I think this game online is an amazing teaching tool. What I would recommend is having a one person game first and learning how to play. It's fun, and you get to compete with people from all over. I think the online version is much better.Interesting fact: The most money ever achieved in an online game is currently 86 million dollars.

Pearlie Medora: Yes, some friends of ours had the game, and we've played it a few times. It's very interesting, and it's a great teaching tool. You start out by randomly picking an "occupation"...this will determine your sal! ary etc...and also your housing expenses. The more you make, the higher your housing expenses. However, you also get to invest your money... and it's the wisest investor that ends up winning the game, regardless of what your initial "occupation" was. We've played it a few times, and I'm not sure the person with the "best" and highest paying job has ever won yet... because with the larger lifestyle that goes along with higher salaries, there are also many more unexpected and unplanned for expenses that you can get hit with. The object of the game is to invest in such a way so as to match your "salary" with "passive" (i.e. investment) income. The game makes you set goals, and once you reach the point where you're passive income allows you to "retire" , then you can go into investing in your "dream" project. Once you "retire" then your piece moves to a different track on the board with different investment opportunities. The game ended when everyone achieves their big dream! s, and the last one to do so "loses".But it really is an incre! dible teaching tool, and it does a good job replicating real-life scenarios. I'd definitely recommend it.And we played only the board game...so we kept track of our finances the old fashioned way...with pencil and paper :) But it was fun. It's been a few months since we played it, so this description is from memory, but this is the gist of it....Show more
