can i drink non alcoholic beer after having pancreatitis?

Ervin Overbee: I would see your doctor about this if I were you.You may get some cranky answers, so seek the advice from your doctor.

Lue Podewils: For someone suffering from pancreatitis induced by alcoholism, it is best to not tempt the tempted... Make sense? Just not a good idea. Pancreatitis is VERY deadly. If this person has survived thus far, the best thing for them is to start better habits immediately (even if it is Super Bowl Sunday). If the pancreatitis was induced to another health issue, then I don't see how it could hurt to have a non-alcoholic beer... If it were me, or my loved one, I'd abstain for the sake of abstaining. Life can be full without alcohol....Show more

Carmina Stickney: You should avoid alcohol, high fat foods, high fiber foods, stimulants, acidic, sugary, or anything spicy. If it does not fall into those categories, I say give it a try a little bit at a time.Note to self: non alcoholic beer still has some alcohol and should be av! oided. Did not know that.
