Eliseo Luma: Seriously? That's where you hook up an antenna to your television and receive broadcast channels for free direct from the air. Go to Radio Shack and ask for a set of "rabbit ears" or a roof-mount antenna and a little advice about hooking it up. You'll find a lot less programming available, but it's still around. You'll be able to get the networks and local stations and some UHF stuff...Wow... I'm surpirsed you didn't know that... when I was a little kid this was the *only* way to get television. Cable didn't come around 'til I was in my early teens...Of course your friend could be talking about "DirecTV" which is one of the satellite television companies out there. In that case you just call 'em up and ask 'em to install a dish on your roof... there's a box that works a lot like a cable box and you get pretty much everything you get with cable... inlcuding a bill each month. I have DirecTV at my house since I live on a mountain with no cable TV. Dish Network ! is another satellite TV company....Show more
