Hilde Heskett: Normally neither will say "not for resale". The only time one normally will see that is if the book belongs to a special collection ie a library and the library placed a sticker on the comic or if the comic was a special release. An example of a special release comic would the one that was given out as a promotion. If I remember correctly, some of the comics that were given away to people in the armed forces stated not for resale because they were intended to be given aways to the trops for free. Although not common with comic books, sometimes books and media that are "sales samples" will state not for resale on them....Show more
